IDENTITY
Located in Downtown Los Angeles, this non-profit offers courses in film and production to at-risk youth. Students shoot commercials for local businesses to fund new equipment and trips to the Sundance Film Festival. They client requested a design that was a playful and mature, incorporating a play button motif. Constructing the logo with layered components embodies the nature of DIY and creation. The play button is an essential icon in the students' experience with media production, while the television is the vessel through which they deliver their content to the world. The use of the color orange grounds the elements and reflects the vibrancy of youth.
